Describe your role at Sunovion
I work on many different projects:
- Project management of the Risk Assessment and Risk Management Working Group where the group identifies risks that the company faces and appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Audits, including SOX audits and ad-hoc operational and vendor audits, to identify compliance and areas of opportunity for improvement in process and policy.
Every project is different and I really enjoy the variety and opportunity to continue to learn about other areas of the company.
How do you think Sunovion is helping patients?
First and foremost, Sunovion markets and develops top quality medications which deliver significant improvements to patients and their families’ lives. In addition, the organisation invests significantly in patient advocacy and outreach to improve disease education, caregiver support, and reduce stigmas associated with disease states such as mental illness.
What do you like best about working at Sunovion?
I enjoy the smaller company environment with the opportunity to make a big impact on patients. As a smaller company there is opportunity to get involved in many different types of projects for which you wouldn’t normally get exposure. There is an opportunity to really expand your skillset and broaden your knowledge. Our focus on patients and true commitment to not only selling a medication but also supporting the patients and caregivers makes me feel good about being a part of Sunovion.
Describe your career at Sunovion
For me, Sunovion has been a place of opportunity. It’s been a place where you can contribute to many interesting and diverse projects and gain the necessary experience to grow your career.
Through utilizing the tuition reimbursement program, earning management opportunities and participating in the Corporate Rotational Program, Sunovion has enabled me to consistently develop and grow. Since joining the company early in my career, and subsequently staying for many years, I have been able to continually learn, grow and take on challenging and diverse roles. The result is being somewhere I feel fortunate to be part of and look forward to in the future.
